Check Availability and Rates  Hotel Description Una residenza d’epoca di grande qualità, con poche camere, tutte con lo charme e l’unicità di una dimora aristocratica, situata in un palazzo storico, le cui prime origini risalgono al 14° secolo ed in cui ebbe bottega il sommo scultore Donatello (1386-1466). --------------------------- Il palazzo è ubicato nel cuore del centro storico di Firenze, in piazza del Duomo, a 30 metri dalla Cupola del Brunelleschi, al centro della “shopping area” ed a pochissima distanza dai principali monumenti e musei. La residenza è stata completamente rinnovata, senza però alterare l’atmosfera ed il fascino dei tempi passati. I locali si caratterizzano per i grandi spazi, gli alti soffitti decorati, i preziosi affreschi e gli arredamenti di gran pregio. Ogni bagno, ha preziose finiture in marmo. Tutti gli ambienti della residenza sono dotati di aria condizionata. Questo Palazzo Niccolini, è rimasto proprietà della famiglia Naldini, fino a quando nel 1879 l’ultima discendente, Cristina Naldini, ha sposato il Marchese Eugenio Niccolini di Camugliano. I proprietari attuali, Filippo e Ginevra Niccolini di Camugliano, curano personalmente tutti i particolari della residenza, in modo che gli ospiti possano godere di un trattamento pari a quello di un Hotel di lusso. Questo piccolo gioiello è stato realizzato pensando a chi ancora oggi desidera vivere l’atmosfera di un antico palazzo storico e nobiliare, dormendo a pochi metri dalla Cupola del Brunelleschi, in un ambiente esclusivo simile a una residenza privata. -------------------------- Tutte le camere della residenza sono corredate di: linea telefonica diretta, TV satellitare, presa per il P.C., cassaforte a combinazione e, in tutti i bagni, asciuga-capelli. Le camere sono preparate per la notte. La residenza dispone di un grande salotto che gli ospiti possono usare per la lettura, la conversazione e il relax. La prima colazione può essere servita anche in camera. Il personale è presente tutti i giorni dalle 7,30 fino alle 20. Palazzo Niccolini al Duomo is located in the heart of historical Florence, 30 mt. away from the Cathedral, in the centre of the shopping area and at walking distance from the main monuments and museums. It’s origins date A back to the 14th century. The great sculptor Donatello (1386-1466) had his workshop here. ---------------------------- Recently, the residence was completely renovated without altering its features and maintaining the fascination of its past history. Rooms are large, have high painted ceilings, frescoed walls and are elegantly decorated. All rooms have “en suite” bathrooms, fitted in marble. The whole residence is air-conditioned. The Palazzo was originally built by the Naldinis, an important family of Florentine merchants and bankers. It, remained in the Naldini family until 1891, when the last descendant, Cristina, married Marchese Eugenio Niccolini di Camugliano and brought into this family as part of her dowry. The present owners, Filippo and Ginevra Niccolini di Camugliano, personally supervised the renovation works and oversee the residence in all details, in order to ensure that guests be offered a top quality treatment, comparable to that of a luxury hotel. This small jewel has been created for those who still nowadays wish to experience the style and prestige of an ancient and historical aristocratic palace, only a few metres away from Brunelleschi’s Dome, and to enjoy maximum comfort in an exclusive environment, evoking the atmosphere of a private residence. -------------------------- All rooms are fitted with: direct telephone line, satellite TV, P.C. plugs, safe with combination and, in every bathroom, hair-drier. Rooms are prepared for the night. There is a big drawing room where guests can read, relax or meet for conversation. Breakfast can be served in the rooms.
